These 33 twin bay hoppers with offset sides are black with orange lettering and run on Bettendorf trucks. Built in the 1940s and serviced and repainted in the mid-1970s, these hoppers were used until the early 1980s. Illinois Central Gulf was a Class 1 railroad from 1972-1988 and arose from the merger of Illinois Central and Gulf, Mobile and Ohio.

These 33 twin bay hoppers with offset sides are black with white lettering and run on Bettendorf trucks. Built in 1937 they belonged to Southern Railway subsidiary Cincinnati, New Orleans and Texas Pacific Railroad. Southern Railway was a Class 1 railroad that operated over 6,000 miles of track across the southern United States from 1894-1982.

These 33 twin bay hoppers with offset sides are brown with white lettering and run on Bettendorf trucks. Built in 1931, this 2160 cu.ft. hopper belonged to a 500-car series and was used in general service, carrying coal, rock, iron ores and occasionally produce. Great Northern was a Class 1 railroad founded in 1881 and eventually was merged with Northern Pacific and others to form Burlington Northern Railroad in 1970.

These 33 twin bay hoppers with offset sides are brown with white lettering and run on Bettendorf trucks. Built in 1949 in an order of 800 units, these cars were used in general service often carrying rock, minerals, or coal. Frisco, the common name for the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway, was founded in 1876 and ran for 104 years before being purchased and absorbed into the Burlington Northern system in 1980.
