Directions:
• On/Off switching via chip-based sensor not mechanical.
Power ON: Turn on LED by moving a magnet over the load at a distance of 1-2 cm.
Power OFF: Turn off LED light, as before, by move a magnet over the load insert.

Product information:
• Uniform light distribution across the load via high brightness LED.
• The load insert features the real photo of molten iron printed on UV printer.
• Modern electronic components allow small wireless switches that can fit in these tiny Z scale loads.
• Wireless On/Off switching using an electronic magnetic sensor via chip-based sensor, not mechanical.
• A small, low-power, Hall Effect Sensor Switch is fitted on a tiny circuit board with the batteries.
• Powered by two small 1.5V Lithium batteries. The reason for choosing batteries, over power picked up
via track power, with these two Metallurgical Cars, is that these cars would require too many unsightly
modifications to power via track power.
• Although it is possible to switch the load inserts On/Off with almost any magnet, I decided to offer a
dedicated tool for this, a wand with comfortable plastic handle and a special strong Neodymium magnet.
• Note, If the distance is too small, less than 1-2 cm, the load inserts may stick to the magnet.

• The housing of the load insert is made of CNC-milled transparent acrylic glass that is covered with a layer of a very fine grade sand-based compound.
• Different variations of the photos, printed on the loads, are used so it is almost unlikely that you get the load inserts with the same printed textures.
• After UV-printing, the bottom and sides of the housings are carefully airbrushed with two different layers of paint.
• First: Silver is painted in order to form a reflective surface for better light distribution and also to protect the load insert from unwanted light leakage.
• Second: The housing is covered with the black layer that improves the light insulation even more and also hides silver layer from the edges.
Wireless Switching Control:
• Now it's time to talk about wireless switching control of the load inserts and some interesting possibilities it offers. It is possible to set up the automatic
operation of the load inserts on layouts using magnets installed on the frames over the tracks. Possible scenario can be the following: the train with "empty"
metallurgical cars slowly enters the blast furnace facility. Passes under the frame with Neodymium magnet and exits the blast furnace with cars filled
with molten iron (with the LEDs switched on). Then the train proceeds towards the slag unloading facility, where the cars are being "unloaded" by passing
under the next frame with magnet.
