Resistor Information
• Finding the required resistor:
      We need to use OHMs Law
          V = I x R
  For our application we need to rearrange:
          R = V ÷ I
          R = Resistor
• Example: using a 3V LED at 3mA with 14V source
      R = Voltage Across Resistor ÷ Current
      R = (14 Volts - 3 Volts) ÷ 3mA
      R = 11 Volts ÷ 0.003A
      R = 3.6K OHM Resistor
• You may adjust the brightness by changing the current value
