These 60’ bulkhead flat cars are painted green with white logos and lettering. They were built in 1980 by Marine Industries and run on Roller Bearing trucks. They were renumbered by British Columbia Railways in 1995 and can be seen working hard on the rails today.

Built 08/1971 by Greenbriar Railcar, Inc., with offices in Lake Oswego, OR, serviced in May 1987 by the Southern Pacific® at Roseville, CA. These are from a 118-car fleet, with 147000 capacity, owned by Galveston Railroad, L.P.

These 60’ bulkhead flat cars are brown with white lettering and run on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built in 1978 by Thrall for the Southern Railway, they were quickly absorbed into NS during the 1982 merger. Used to carry heavy loads, bulkheads on each end prevent horizontal shifting from sudden acceleration or deceleration of the train.

Built by Thrall for Burlington Northern in 1975, this bulkhead flat was obtained by BNSF in the merger of 1995, and repainted. With a 263,000-pound gross rail load, it is often used in the shipment of structural commodities such as steel pipes.
