This car was originally built for the ATSF in the late 1970s, one of a series of cars renumbered to BNSF numbers after the 1996 merger. After the merger it received this paint scheme with the Heritage BNSF logo.

Missouri Pacific/Union Pacific

Built for Railbox in the mid-1970s, these 5,090 cubic-foot capacity box cars were later obtained by Missouri Pacific/Union Pacific. With a 70-ton capacity, it was used in general service through the mid-2000s.

Norfolk Southern

These 70-ton capacity 5,219 cubic-foot boxcars were built in 1978 and are designated BS79 by Norfolk Southern. Norfolk Southern was formed in 1982 and grew substantially after the acquisition of roughly half of Conrail in 1999.

Built in 1975 for Norfolk & Western these boxcars were used for food grade loading only. Norfolk & Western was a Class 1 railroad which operated on the east coast from 1838-1982. It then combined with Southern Railway to form Norfolk Southern.
